A typical installation on a standard ¼ acre lot takes 2 to 3 days. Of course, much of this will depend on the weather, especially during our summer afternoon rainy season. We will usually set the post first and let the cement set up for a day or two. Once the posts are ready, we will then return and install the panels. Once a job has been started, we will work diligently to get it completed promptly. How long will a fence last? Even though wood fences are some of my favorites as far as style and look, they do require the most upkeep and maintenance and have some of the shortest life expectancies. 20 years is about the tops on a wood fence if it is maintained as it should be. Vinyl fence and Aluminum fences are much newer to the market place but should give you a full 20 years of mostly maintenance-free enjoyment and then more. These numbers do not take into consideration if a fence is impaired by a storm or vandalized. Our aluminum fences and vinyl fences offer limited lifetime warranties on the finish and composition of the fence from the actual fence manufacturers we use.
